Why Breathwork Works

Most people try to solve stress by thinking their way out of it.

But stress doesn't just live in the mind.

It lives in the body.

In simple terms, your breath is a remote control for your nervous system. Certain breathing techniques help calm and regulate the body, while others help release stored tension, stress and emotion.

That's why so many people leave feeling lighter, calmer and more present after a session.

Many participants report:

  • Feeling calmer and more grounded

  • Reduced anxiety

  • More emotional resilience

  • Better sleep

  • Increased clarity

  • A greater sense of connection to themselves and others

Some participants also experience vivid visualisations, profound insights or deeply meaningful personal experiences.

Every journey is unique.

Why People Return Every Week

Stress isn't something we solve once.

It's something we learn to regulate.

Life keeps happening. Work keeps demanding.

Responsibilities keep piling up.

That's why so many people make breathwork part of their weekly routine.

Each session becomes an opportunity to release what you've been carrying before it

builds into overwhelm.

A weekly reset for your mind, body and nervous system.

"Mitch's classes have become a non-negotiable part of my routine
because the impact has been genuinely life-changing."

- Caitlin

What People Are Saying

Meet Your Facilitator

MITCHELL JAMESON

I created Dreamstate Breathwork because I know what it feels like to carry stress, pressure and responsibility while trying to keep everything together.

A number of years ago, I found myself searching for answers after noticing the same patterns showing up in my life again and again. That search eventually led me to breathwork.

What I discovered wasn't just a powerful tool for healing and self-awareness, but a way to create genuine calm, clarity and connection from within.

Today I help people create space to slow down, reconnect with themselves and experience the calm that's often hidden beneath the noise of everyday life.

My intention is simple:

To create a safe and supportive environment where people can breathe, release and remember what it feels like to truly relax.

Frequently Asked Questions

My mind never switches off. Will this actually help me relax?

That's exactly why most people come. The breathing itself does the work, you don't have to force relaxation or clear your mind. Most people leave feeling calmer and clearer than they have in weeks.

I've never done anything like this before. Will I feel out of place?

Most people who walk through the door are complete beginners. No experience needed. Just show up and follow the guidance.

What if I can't stop thinking during the session?

That's normal. You don't need to clear your mind or do it perfectly. The breath naturally pulls your attention away from the noise and into your body, even the busiest minds settle.

I’m already exhausted. Will this give me more energy or make me more tired?

Most people arrive drained. Breathwork regulates the nervous system which leads to deeper rest, better sleep and more energy in the days that follow.

Will everyone have the same experience?

No. Every session is unique. Some people feel deeply relaxed, others experience emotional release, insights or visualisations. There is no right or wrong experience.

Is breathwork safe?

Breathwork is generally very safe for most people, however certain medical conditions may require modifications or may not be suitable. Please contact us if you're unsure.

I struggle to make time for myself. Is one hour a week really worth it?

You spend most of your week showing up for everyone else. Sixty minutes to show up for yourself — so you can actually be present for the people who need you. Yes. It's worth it.

Your Weekly Opportunity To Reset

Life doesn't slow down on its own.

The responsibilities don't stop. The stress keeps stacking up.

But for one hour each week, you get to choose something different.

To slow down. To breathe. To let go of what you've been carrying.

And remember what calm actually feels like.

You spend so much of your life taking care of everything else.

This is 60 minutes to finally take care of you.
